You’re responsible for the job.
You’re not there to see it.
Attesto exists for everyone who sends work to someone else: the installation firm, the letting agent, the landlord, the facilities manager. You carry the risk of every visit, and right now you’re relying on a phone call to know it went well.
Why we’re building it
Almost every business that installs, repairs or maintains things relies on independent contractors. It’s the right way to work: good fitters and tradespeople run their own businesses.
But the proof of the work lives in the contractor’s camera roll, a WhatsApp thread and somebody’s memory. When a customer complains or a tenant disputes a repair weeks later, the person who sent the job has nothing to show.
The software that exists is built for companies with their own staff in their own vans. Nobody built for the gap between the business and the contractor. That’s the gap Attesto fills.
How we think about it
-
1
Contractors never pay
The business sending the work pays. Fitters and tradespeople use Attesto free, always, because asking them to pay for being checked up on would never work.
-
2
No app to download
Jobs arrive as a text link. If it takes more than a few taps on site, it won’t get done, so we design for the van, not the office.
-
3
Proof protects everyone
The same photos that settle a complaint for you also protect the contractor from claims that weren’t their fault. It’s a shared record, not surveillance.
-
4
Prices you can read
You pay per job, the prices are on the website, and you can leave at the end of any month. No sales call needed to find out what it costs.

We’re just getting started.
We’re building Attesto with a small group of founding members: landlords and businesses who tell us what works on real jobs and what doesn’t.
If that sounds like you, we’d like to hear from you.
